Grief | Reflection | Acceptance | Community | Empowerment

A virtual space to help Black women manage grief around the holiday and everyday thereafter.

Grief can be challenging to experience no matter the time of year. The grieving process can impact your emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual health. Living life after a loss can feel impossibly painful. The holiday season is often portrayed as being full of good cheer, hopefulness, and connection. When you are grieving, the sense of discord between the experience of your grief and the cheer of the holiday season can exacerbate your feelings of grief and loss. So, how do you celebrate when your loved one is no longer a part of this special time? What does the holiday mean to you now? How will you celebrate as a family? We'll explore these questions and more in this virtual support group for adult women ages 21 and up who have lost a loved one. This virtual support group will focus on ways to cope with grief during the holiday season.
