Group Therapy

Group therapy provides a safe space for clients to explore complex topics and personal experiences within a supportive environment. Within a group setting, clients are given an opportunity to see that they are not alone and can experience the benefits of interacting with others who share similar experiences. Our goal is to offer group therapy where participants leave restored, uplifted, and empowered.

TRUE Space offers:

1). Psychoeducational Groups - focus on providing education through information sharing while helping clients develop healthy coping mechanisms. Often group members will share a specific diagnosis, which allows the group to focus on a specific set of needs and unique topics. By attending group sessions, clients are able to open up more about their experiences, learn what they need, and motivate each other to become better versions of themselves.

2). Processing Groups - focus on fostering a supportive environment where group members can build cohesive bonds, receive multiple perspectives and safely work through challenges. Our groups promote members to engage in deepened self-awareness by practicing vulnerability and exploring their emotions in a supportive group setting.

3). Support Groups - focus on curating a space for group members to establish the necessary connection needed to offer one another emotional comfort, moral support, and encouragement. Our support groups help members learn how to manage symptoms, develop better coping skills, and increase self-understanding.

A virtual space for Black Women Entrepreneurs to learn how to prioritize peace on their road to riches.

The entrepreneur struggle:

There is a misconception that in order to become a successful entrepreneur, you have to adopt a work ethic that often promotes the absence of physical, emotional, and spiritual wellness. This group serves as a safe space for you to explore unhealthy behaviors and adopt better habits in order to foster success in your business and personal life.

You will be empowered to:

Set and maintain boundaries: Identify your workload limit and learn how to say no to people and things that do not serve you

Adopt realistic self-care practices: Identify daily self-care activities that promote wellness and decrease the chances of burnout

Confront Impostor Syndrome: Understand self-doubt and process how anxiety or fear show up in your business practices

Exercise self-compassion: Learn to be compassionate with yourself during the good, bad, and ugly sides of entrepreneurship

Redefine strength:  Recognize the benefits of being vulnerable and asking for help in order to meet your emotional and business needs

Sever your ties to hustle culture: Identify how to embrace rest by spending less time celebrating self-exhaustion

Recognize that emotional well-being and securing the bag can co-exist! You do not have to sacrifice one to achieve the other!

Next group starts on April 19th!
